Kijuro Yahagi
Born in Yamagata Prefecture in 1952. Completed the course of the Graduate School of Architecture, Waseda University. Instructor of Keio University and Waseda University. Carrying out architecture, landscape design, product design, graphic design, wayfinding design (sign system), photography, fine art, furniture design, sculpture and criticism.
Awards
Winning a prize of Poster Competition for The 80th birthday of Bertolt Brecht/ 1978, the special prize at the 3rd International Poster Biennale Warsaw, Poland in 1980, the gold prize at the 13th International Poster Biennale Warsaw, Poland in 1990, ADC award and Hara Hiromu award at Tokyo Art Directors Club, the 3rd Kuwasawa Award in 1995, 26th Kodansha Book Design Prize in 1995 in 1995, Masaru Katsumi Award etc.
