〈One’s Point of View〉(1994)を制作してから、20年後に制作したシリーズである。〈One’s Point of View〉は一つのドーナツ型の白い余白がある作品だったが、〈Space of Magnetic Vision〉は、白いリングの中にまた白いリングがある作品である。〈One’s Point of View〉と決定的に違うことが、二重の白いリングで囲まれた中心部の視野範囲が一番広く、二つ目のリングに囲まれた箇所の視野範囲がそれより狭くなり、そして二つのリングの外側が一番視野範囲が狭くなっていること。
この作品の最大の特徴は、奥へ奥へ、あるいは奥から手前へと、奥へ、あるいは手前への方向性を連続して感じさせることである。

20 years after creating One’s Point of View (1994), I created this series. One’s Point of View was a series of works with a doughnut-shaped blank space, whereas Space of Magnetic Vision is a series of works with a white ring inside another white ring. The main difference from One’s Point of View is that the widest perspective is in the center surrounded by the two rings, while a narrower perspective is between the two rings, and the narrowest perspective is outside the rings.
The main characteristic of this work is that it lets us feel continuity of direction, near or far, as we go farther and farther, or from far to near.
